Day 1 - Arrival in Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai

  • Upon safe arrival in Shanghai, you will be met by a private vehicle and tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

  • Visiting Yuyuan Garden, a classical Ming Dynasty garden in Shanghai's Old City.

  • Walk and shop along bustling Nanjing Road.

Day 2 - Shanghai: Shikumen stone gatehouse/Yuyuan Garden/City God Temple/Bund/Nanjing Road
Day 3 - Arrival in Beijing - Airport Transfer

Take China’s high-speed rail and travel from Shanghai to Beijing in around 5 hours.

  • Your Beijing tour guide will greet you and transfer you to the hotel by private car.

Day 4 - Beijing: Temple of Haven/Tiananmen Square/Forbidden City/Jiangshan Park

Explore the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the Temple of Heaven, listening to the ancient echoes at the Echo Wall.

  • Followed by the lively Tiananmen Square, the spiritual heart of China, enjoy the grand city landmark and magnificent Tiananmen Gate.

  • Enter the Forbidden City for an in-depth guided tour of the central axis palaces. Explore the grand Hall of Supreme Harmony, imperial palaces and the Imperial Garden.

  • Ascend to the Wanchun Pavilion in Jingshan Park for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City

Day 5 - Beijing: Great Wall/Summer Palace/ Bird's Nest & Water Cubes

  • Arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall, take the cable car to the mountaintop, and stroll along the western section of the watchtowers (Tower 14 to Tower 20), overlooking the magnificent mountain scenery.

  • Stroll through the Summer Palace, admire classical Chinese pavilions, corridors. Savor the elegance of the royal garden.

  • Return to the city to enjoy the stunning night views of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Day 6 - Arrival in Chengdu - Airport Transfer

  • Arrive in Chengdu by flight. On arrival we will transfer to the hotel

Day 7 - Chengdu: Giant Panda/ People's Park/ Khuanzai Valley

  • Early breakfast then, followed by a morning visit to the The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you witness the conservation efforts being made to save this endangered species. Pandas look adorable with amazing body

  • movements. You can get quite close to them, watching them at play, eating, napping and munching bamboo.

  • Head out to have a walk at People's Park and relax with a cup of tea in the century-old Heming Teahouse.

  • Wander around the Kuanzhai Alley, a landmark of Chengdu. The street is famous for its historic atmosphere, bustling business and, most of all, for its local snacks
